Midterm exam

The Digital Storytelling movement, also known as DS106, uses digital tools to enable individuals to tell their stories on the Web in a compelling and engaging manner. There are various approaches to storytelling. This blog post seeks to discuss the web approach of Digital Storytelling.

The Web approach of Digital Storytelling uses technologies such as Google Maps, Google Search, and others to enact narratives. Other techniques employed include using a picture or video of a pet in a particular situation, and trying to narrate one's own personal story using the picture or video.

  1. The write up, links you shared and the You Tube video all nicely present a great introduction to digital storytelling. This is just what we need as we head in to the final lap of the course.

I hope you and your classmates find some insight and inspiration from what you've put together. I certainly appreciate it.

In terms of formatting, I'd like you to try to make your hyperlinks words or short phrases instead of the URLs. Also, it would be cool if the hyperlinks can be worked in to the paragraph. I realize this isn't always possible.

Anyhow, keep up the great work. Thanks.
